24 Hour Fitness
24 hour fitness is the new hype, being able to work out at 3 o’clock in the morning sounds like a big deal, but to be frank, totally unnecessary. To really benefit from working out, all you really need to do is to work out three times a week.
Working out 5 plus days a week, unless you are training for a triathalon or you’re a professional athlete, is actually quite unnecessary and can actually cause you some serious physical damage, especially if you are new to working out.
The reality is your body needs to rest and heal in between work out periods. The down time is when your muscles grow, through the healing process. Basically when you work out and feel that burn it is because you are causing tiny little tears in the muscle wall, your body responds by creating a thicker muscle wall during the healing process, resulting in a leaner muscle mass.
24 hour fitness is really overrated and may tack on quite a few dollars to your budget. That’s why Personal Training is a good option. Before making a decision to enroll in a 24 hour fitness club you really should have an honest conversation with yourself. Take into consideration whether or not you will ever actually use this service or not, keep in mind that you may regret signing for something that you may never use. The reality is that you can easily meet and exceed your work out goals in around three hours each week and don’t need 24 hours.
It really depends on how much money you are willing to waste, if you don’t mind paying the higher fees for the hand full of times you may or may not use the service then sure why not. But if you are working with a bit of a smaller budget, or you realize the value of a dollar, then you might want to forego this 24 hour fitness gym for something that is better suited to fit your needs and to fit in your budget.
Folks sometimes feel that if a gym is going to be a 24 hour fitness center then they are going to get better service, when in reality the opposite is likely true. In most centers the staff is skeletal after a certain hour, and a lot of the services that are offered during regular business hours are not available during the rest of the 24 hours. As a smart consumer that wants to get in shape you need to be aware of these little draw backs that might become huge obstacles to your work out Of course it makes perfect sense to the business owner to cut back on staff during those little used night-time hours when there are fewer patrons, but unless you are in it for a quick work out with little services you may want to reconsider the 24 hour fitness option. In most cases there is only one trainer available during the off peak hours, which can be a real headache.
It really comes down to why would you pay more than you have to for any service, just on the outside chance that you may use the additional services once or twice in the wee hours of the morning.
Getting the results that you need can come easily during only a few hours a week. Don’t get roped into the 24 hour fitness hype!
