Thoracic Mobility Program

Welcome to the Thoracic Mobility program. Congratulations on doing this. This is going to be one of the best things you can do for your overall health. And the reason being is because as we age, our posture begins to decrease. And so if you can move your spine and you can move it correctly and healthy, you will keep yourself young, active and taller, more flexible, etcetera. So the benefits are massive. If you don’t do a program like this, you’ll continue to hunch forward. Especially in this day and age, when people are hunched over looking at their phone. And that’s why we have a lot of postural neck issues going on today. So this will help your overall body. So it’s extremely important. I’m going to break each video down. So one exercise per one video it’s best if you do it sequentially, but you can skip around.

If you feel like you don’t want to do a couple of the exercises, so we’re going to get right into it. You’re going to enjoy this program because afterwards you’re going to automatically feel, and I want you to understand the power of this. If your spine is even slightly not in alignment, your thoughts, your feelings are going to be a lot lower. As soon as you start to stand up straight, your chest goes up and out. Your spine is straighter. You instantly send neurochemicals to the brain that make you feel better. You think better, and therefore you’ll take greater action in your life that will enhance every aspect of it. And that’s how powerful the body is, especially when it’s moving in the correct way. So we’re going to get started, start on video one and then just continue and you’ll see how amazing you feel.

Medball thoracic extension Arms open

  • Chin To Chest Elbows To Knees Thoracic Stretch

Ankles crossed, elbows over the knees, tuck chin

  • Side Rib Cage Stretch

Lying on the side push the hips down breath in to rib cage and switch sides

  • Thoracic Chair Stretch

Dr. Stuart Mcgill Chair elbow to press with hand behind head and shoulder flexion

  • Super Strap Lat Stretch

Band reach lat stretch
-Stretch lat stretch (knees to the side and advance leg lateral and straight)

  • Super Strap Pec Stretch

**Optional:

  • (Jack knife stretch) with knees bent and push toes against the hands
  • Childs pose forward 
  • Childs pose to the side.
