The #1 Way to Hold Yourself Accountable Towards Any Goal

The #1 Way to Hold Yourself Accountable Towards Any Goal

Everybody Andrew here. Just thought of something real quick that a lot of us need a refresher on, or maybe even need to start doing more often. I felt victim to it a little bit ago, and we all do… the lack of motivation at certain points of the year. Right? Certain times, certain days, certain weeks where we just don’t feel like eating well, we don’t feel like exercising. We don’t feel like pushing.

The #1 Way to Hold Yourself Accountable Towards Any Goal

We don’t feel motivated. Just so you know, before I get into a quick tip for you all, motivation is only temporary, right? It’s not meant to be sustainable day in and day out. It goes up and down. What probably is a lot more sustainable to give you that extra edge, the extra push, that extra excuse to, to hit your goals, whatever they may be. Fitness, health, aesthetic goals, performance type goals, like strength and endurance.

What you probably should start doing. And I’m definitely doing this is book an event in your calendar in three months, four months, that’s related to the outcome that you like or will give you the excuse to get the outcome that you like with your health, with your fitness, with your body. For example, if I’m booking a trip that I’m gonna be on the beach for in four months, and I wanna wear a bathing suit.. book that event, now don’t try to think, Hey, I’m gonna reward myself when I hit my goals and book an event, book them now, because then you have to be pulled towards reaching that goal. It’s an excuse, right?

To push, to eat well. Right? Because in the back of your mind, you don’t wanna look like you haven’t worked out on the day of your life when you’re on the beach, right? That’s the whole point of aesthetic goals.

It could be the same thing with performance or strength or endurance, go book, a Spartan race, go book, a lifting competition, a sports competition, something it could be of all ages. Doesn’t really matter. You don’t have to be young and athletic to book like a Spartan race, for example, right. Go book that if you want to up your level or give your, your excuse to up your level in the gym. Right? So just think about those types of things, as accountability as an excuse to give you that extra edge.
